Wild trekking inside the Reserve
The wild trekking is the service that the cooperative Segreti Mediterranei offers to all lovers of adventure. Visitors have the opportunity to explore even the wildest and most untouched corners of the Reserve accompanied by the guides of the cooperative. The guided tour runs along the Crocchio River. Along its course you can admire the typical carcare – buildings where people used to make big fires in order to generate ash – the Parise mill, the remains of the Devil’s Bridge and the Petra Aggìallu monolith.
Footpath of archeo-trekking
Special routes of archeo-trekking are dedicated to all visitors who want to enrich their experience at the Reserve discovering the history, culture and traditions of the places of the area.
In fact, the ruins of ancient villages, castles and monasteries around the territory of the Reserve are very interesting from the historical-mythological and cultural point of view, including Marcaglione, the monastery of Santi Tre Fanciulli and the legendary city of Barbaro.
